As the President of the AAPA, Gisela possessed the vision and leadership
to make this new website possible. Gisela assisted with forming
this committee, and provided guidance throughout the process. We
greatly appreciate her contributions!
Angela Ebreo, Ph.D. – University of Illinois, Chicago
As a Co-Chair of the AAPA web development committee, Angie made
numerous contributions to the launching of the new AAPA website!
As far at the student section, Angie provided an inclusive list
of links for student resources. We greatly appreciate her leadership
and great efforts!!!
Yong Cho, Ph.D. – North Shore-Long Island Jewish
Health System
As a Co-Chair of the AAPA web development committee, Yong offered
much assistance in the development of the new website. Specifically
for the student section, Yong compiled the completed work of all
committee members and worked with Academic WebPages to format the
content for the website.
Michi Fu, Ph.D. - The University of Hawaii at Manoa
Michi completed the awesome list of tips for the APA internship
application process.
We really appreciate Michi's continued involvement in providing
student services!
Tai Chang, Ph.D. – Hofstra University
Tai wrote the entire mentoring subsection! We really appreciate
him sharing his expertise, as well as his continued support of student
related AAPA activities.
Alvin Alvarez, Ph.D. – San Francisco State University
Alvin co-authored the student’s guide to getting the most
out of AAPA conventions.
We appreciate his continued support of and contributions to AAPA
student services!
Manchi Melody Chao, B.A. – University of California,

Hwei-Jane Chen, M.A. – Doctoral Candidate at the University
of Missouri-Columbia
Melody and Hwei-Jane’s great display of team work resulted
in their contribution of an excellent list of links for undergrads
who are applying to psychology graduate programs! We appreciate
their time and effort, and look forward to their continued participation
in AAPA activities!!!
Szu-Hui Lee (Cindy), M.A. – Doctoral Student at Ohio
State University
Szu-Hui compiled a great list of grants and scholarships, as well
as some great links of resources added to Angie’s list. Szu-Hui
has remained highly active on the website committee, and has devoted
much time and energy to the proposed bulletin board for
this website!
Cindy Fong, M.C. – Doctoral Candidate at the University
of Memphis
As the Student Representative Board Member of 2000 to 2002, Cindy
shared her knowledge of AAPA student needs. We are appreciative
of her continued involvement, support, and guidance!
Lynda Yoshikawa, M.A. – Doctoral Candidate at C.S.P.P
at A.I.U., San Diego
Lynda coordinated the student section website committee, co-authored
the student’s guide to getting the most out of AAPA conventions,
wrote the student representative statement, and this acknowledgements
page.
With everyone’s great efforts, AAPA is providing an inclusive
website for AAPA students!!! The AAPA Executive Committee would
like to thank each and every one of you!!!
